PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism which determines reservations for services or the like of a person, who has excellent skill or is remarkably famous, by network auction. SOLUTION: The mechanism is provided which puts up the service time zone of a specifically skilled person at auction in accordance with a schedule table and settles reservations and a schedule. That is, it is an auction system related to service provision which includes a Web server 15 and a CGI server 16, which provide a place for auction, and clients 11 connected to them through the Internet 10. The Web server 15 and the CGI server 16 publish the schedule table which is divided by a prescribed period unit with respect to service provision and which has auction cells whose present conditions of auction are displayed, and the client 11 who accesses this server selects a prescribed auction cell from the schedule table on the basis of displayed present conditions to execute bid reception.
