PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method enabling Armillaria sinapina to be cultivated simply and inexpensively. SOLUTION: This method is characterized in that a step where hyphae are produced from spores of Armillaria sinapina by agar culture; a step where sawdust spawns are produced by inoculating hyphae obtained by agar culture into sawdust; a step where a mycorrhiza bed log is produced by inoculating the sawdust spawns into a sawdust medium in which a bed log has been planted; a step where a cultivation bed is prepared by spreading about 10 cm thickness of sawdust and then by spreading about 10 cm thickness of leaf mold or compost thereon; a step where the mycorrhiza bed log is put within the cultivation bed in such a way that the mycorrhiza bed log substantially wholly conceals itself within the cultivation bed; a step where a new bed log is put in an adjoining condition to the mycorrhiza bed log placed in the cultivation bed; and the cultivation bed is controlled in such a way that the water content of the cultivation bed is retained at about 60% or larger.
