PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce area for storing waste plastics.;SOLUTION: A facility for storing the waste plastics is provided with a storage container 13 for receiving a specified amount of the waste plastics carried from a collecting car 11, a compressor 14 for packing the waste plastics carried from the collecting car into the storage container while they are compressed, a three-dimensional storage apparatus 20 in which a plurality of shelves 22 divided into specified areas in the longitudinal and transverse directions are connected with each other, a carrying apparatus for storing the storage containers in which the waste plastics are packed to a specified shelf according to a shelf designating signal and a selecting apparatus 40 for selecting the waste plastics in the storage container taken out from the corresponding shelf by the carrying apparatus according to a shelf container carrying signal to required kinds.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
