PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a set of working footings for weeding used on steeply slanting ground.;SOLUTION: Each of the working footings comprises a base for fixing a shoe by a belt, a long leg on one side and two short legs on the other side back and forth under the base and two diagonal stays across both sides. When the legs are allowed to sink in the ground, the stays are sunk to a level where they are brought into contact with the slanting ground, rendering the base horizontally stabilized. In this way weeding on the steeply slanting ground is conducted by stepping sideways.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
