PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove sediment without making water muddy in a state of water stored in a dam pond.;SOLUTION: This removing device for sediment deposited in a dam lake is provided with a shield material 2 for sectioning water in the dam pond, a suction pump 1 for sucking sedimentation from a suction region 3 sectioned by the shield material 2, a separator 4 for separating sedimentation included in water sucked by the suction pump 1 and a circulation means 5 for circulating water with sedimentation separated by the separator 4 to the suction region 3. The circulation means 5 is provided with a reservoir tank 7 for temporarily storing water separated by the separator 4. In the removing device, the suction pump 1 sucks sedimentation together with water from the suction region 3 sectioned by the shield material 2, sedimentation is transferred to the separator 4, the sucked water is separated from sedimentation by the separator 4, the water is transferred to the reservoir tank 7 and water in the reservoir tank 7 is circulated to the suction area 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
