PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for surveying customer preferences of commodity images shown on an electronic catalog.;SOLUTION: The method comprises a step (S1) of giving identification codes to a group of images which are replaced and displayed and produce the three-dimensional display effects and to record these images on a recorder of a server by means of an electronic catalog, including the three-dimensional display images; a step (S2) of producing an electronic catalog document, including a group of images to which a customer adds a control tag for directly controlling the display effects of the group of images, a step (S3) of enabling the customer to read the electronic catalog document; a step (S7) of collecting, sorting and recording the display control signals, with respect to three-dimensional display images which are transmitted from the computer used by the customer to read the electronic catalog document and are included in the catalog document; and a step (S8) of analyzing and evaluate the observation mode, set to the commodity images of the three-dimensional display images based on the recorded display control signals.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
