PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residual pressure recovery and power generation facility in a city-water service that can recover a residual pressure from a water pipe effectively and use it to avoid an energy waste. SOLUTION: In a secondary water pipe G in a city water facility at the right upstream position of a water intake tank H, a bypass duct G1 and a residual pressure-recovery duct G2 are provided in such a state as to be branched off. An aperture of the bypass duct G1 and that of the residual pressure-recovery duct G2 are individually led to the water intake tank H. Then, to the bypass duct G1, a bypass valve V1 consisting of either an electrically-driven valve or an electromagnetic valve is provided while to the residual pressure-recovery duct G2, an in-line type pump reversible hydraulic turbine PT is installed to generated electric power using a recovered residual pressure in the city water service.
