PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a proper lecture class corresponding to the level of the skill of a person who hopes to attend a lecture class.;SOLUTION: A prerequisite information for attending lecture classes storage means 1 stores prerequisite information for attending lecture classes being information indicating conditions of skills which are required as preconditions for attending lecture classes. A skill information obtaining means 2 obtains skill information being information indicating skills which are provided by the person who hopes to attend a lecture class. A lecture class to be attended selecting means 3 selects a lecture class to which the person who hopes to attend the lecture class is to be attended based on the affinity between the prerequisite information for attending lecture classes and the skill information. The means 3 checks the affinity between the prerequisite information for attending lecture classes and the skill information, that is, in what degree the skills provided by the person who hopes to attend the lecture class are similar to the conditions of skills which are required as the prerequisite for attending lecture classes and selects a lecture class having skills of high affinity as to these skills (in short, whose degree of similarity is high) as a lecture class to which the person who hopes to attend the lecture is to be attended.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
