PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly work a siding controller for a belt by holding a detecting part surface of a siding detecting member in an always constant coefficient of friction even if a minute foreign bodies such as toners adheres to the detecting part surface, and preventing the excessive siding of the belt without damaging an end part in the belt, in the siding controller for the belt.;SOLUTION: To constantly maintain a coefficient of friction on a detecting part 10a surface of a siding detecting member 10, the detecting part 10a surface is formed of a short fiber mixing rubber composition oriented in a direction where a fiber axis is vertical to the detection part 10a surface, and protruded a part of fibers from its surface. To prevent an excessive fluctuation of the belt without damaging an end part of the belt, a flange part 10b is provided on the siding-detecting member 10, and its surface is formed of a short fiber mixing rubber composition oriented in a direction where a fiber axis is vertical to the detection part 10a surface, and protruded a part of fibers from its surface.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
