PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the labor and time required for execution by integrally molding a cover body for covering the upper end opening section of a riser pipe erected on the inspection port of a catch basin and a protective frame surrounding the upper section of the riser pipe.;SOLUTION: A cover body 11 made of a synthetic resin for covering the upper end opening section 2a of a riser pipe 2 and an annular protective frame section 12 made of mortar for surrounding the upper section of the riser pipe 2 are integrally molded to form a cover 10. When executed, the lower end section of the riser pipe 2 is coupled with the inspection port 1a of a catch basin 1, and they are fixed by an adhesive. Sediment is back-filled to a position below the ground surface by the height of the protective frame section 12 of the cover 10 and is rolled. The cover body 11 of the cover 10 is coupled with the upper end opening 2a of the riser pipe 2, and the inner periphery of the protective frame section 12 and the upper section outer periphery of the riser pipe 2 are stuck and fixed by the adhesive. The labor and time required for execution can be reduced without impairing a beautiful appearance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
