Air-conditioning for installation the human domain, in particular for living and working rooms, with a central air-conditioning device for preparing the room air, blower for delivering the prepared room air in the region of the central air-conditioning device, at least one delivery duct for the prepared room air delivered by the blower and at least one outlet duct with an air outlet for the introduction of the prepared room air into at least one associated room to be air-conditioned. Arranged in the region between blower and air outlet is a filter device which is flowed through by the prepared room air and which has at least one suspended-particle filter and at least one sorption filter. The filter device is at the same time designed as a sound-damping and/or sound-insulating device. The filters therein are designed in the form of sound-insulating elements and/or sound-absorbing elements. A method for operating such an air-conditioning installation is also indicated. …IMAGE…
