PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technology for controlling of an active contents cache to enable efficient operation of a network resource.;SOLUTION: The contents are preliminarily distributed to a cache server before the contents are requested from a consumer by predicting the contents to be requested from the consumer by using access frequency information and predicting the contents to be requested from the consumer, by predicting a route between the cache server and the consumer when a traffic state of a network is changed. In addition, the contents in a new version are preliminarily distributed to a cache server having the contents in an old version before the contents are requested from the consumer when the version of the contents is revised. Thus, the efficient operation of the network resource is enabled and network congestion an be evaded.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
