PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a continuous on-rail train management at a block unit by connecting train sensing devices through a Network and transmitting and receiving mutually information about a train coming-in and going-out, and a train on rail or not.;SOLUTION: Each train sensing device 1 takes in a response signal from a ground responder G or an on-train responder V received by an interrogator Q installed at boundaries between blocks A1, A2, A3 as closed divisions for train running and senses that the train has come in a front block, and also operates the sensing system for a train going-out to sense that another train 3 has gone out from a rear block, and thereupon prepares the on-rail train information, manages the on-rail train information of different blocks including the on-rail train information, and sends out the information to an external device 4, wherein a plurality of such train sensing devices 1 installed in continued blocks as objects to be sensed are connected through a Network NW in such a way as capable of bidirectionally communicating, and the sensed information about coming-in and going-out of a train acquired by the interrogator Q is transmitted and received mutually between the train sensing devices 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
