Method for secure payment via the Internet, stores transaction data on client card and at transaction center, and has bank read client card when transaction details arrive from transaction center
The payment method stores transaction data on a client transaction card (24) and at transaction processing service (22) connected to the Internet and, via a secure network, to a bank (28). The transaction data identifies client, vendor and product, and sends these to the bank. The bank reads the client card to confirm account details, charges the account and triggers delivery.
