The master cylinder for a vehicle is characterized in that the coupling means of the cylinder (1) and of the piston (2) are determined so that the forces exerted on the piston (2) by the actuator member (7), are always in the axis of said cylinder in order to be subjected to any radial force, so that the axial force is unequally converted into pressure in the circuit.
