The thin coating is carried out by synchronous spreading of binder and stones on the road (S) in the following manner. A first layer of hot bitumen (b1) is spread on the road and then a thin layer of hot water (e) is laid on the bitumen. A second layer of hot bitumen (b2) is then spread onto the thin water layer. A layer of stones (c) is then spread on top. An Independent claim is also included for the vehicle carrying out thin coating on road.
