The display is illuminated when connected to a source of electric current and uses electro luminescent, magneto-optic or electromagnetic display cells to form a message on the panel, under control of a control unit. The display cells are formed as bars or pixels. The display is housed in a glass-fibre shell with an attachment to allow suspension from a support and has a protective rubber buffer. An Independent claim is also included for utilization kit for the display device.
