The coder is a fundamental frequency (f0) of the audio signal, and includes in a digital stream of the output (phi) of the data coding of a harmonic component of the signal, representing the spectral amplitudes of harmonics of the fundamental frequency, and the coding of a component not - harmonic of the signal, representing the spectral amplitude associated with the frequencies located in the intermediate zones of the spectrum with respect to harmonics. From these data, the decoder produces, on the extent of the spectrum, the estimates of the harmonic spectral components and not - harmonic of the signal, and spectral combined to form a spectral estimate global from which it produces the decoded version of the audio signal.
