The invention relates to a composition for topical use, comprising an emulsion of oil-in-water type - to - water formed of lipid vesicles which are dispersed in an aqueous phase containing at least one active hydrophilic acid. It is characterized in that the said vesicles are comprised of the oily globules, each provided with a lamellar liquid crystal coating obtained from at least one surfactant and in that said aqueous phase does not contain gélifiant.la composition obtained has a viscosity greater than 500 centipoises at a ph between 2 and 4.la composition according to the invention may optionally be present in the form of an emulsion, such as defined above - above, and a hydrophilic active powder intended to be mixed extemporanément.l' invention also relates to a process for preparing this composition, as well as its use in cosmetic and dermatological compositions.
