The system sorts out the waste, with waste like metal, glass, and plastics being cleaned and sent to be recycled, while the decayable waste is composted and sent to the agricultural sector. The combustible waste, like wood, paper, cartons or non-recyclable plastics are transformed into a solid fuel after which they are combusted to provide energy, e.g. electricity. The toxic fumes are filtered and treated to reduce pollution. The non-recyclable products of this combustion is introduced into a vitrification oven and made into glass balls used for landscaping
