Control method for vehicles with air conditioning system, involves engaging air conditioning compressor with internal combustion engine in response to transient vehicle driving condition, during certain condition
A transient vehicle driving condition is indicated when the vehicle is moving. The duration of cycle in which the air conditioning compressor (220) is engaged and disengaged with the internal combustion engine, is determined based on the airconditioning system parameter. The compressor is engaged in response to the indication when the duration is greater than a predetermined duration.
