Bit generator for forming secret encoding key has computer device that causes memory cell transitions from initial to final state depending on received reference system bit, probability rules
The bit generator has an electronic circuit with an input (E) for an input signal with a group of n bits known as reference system bits, an output (S) for a signal with n measurement bits and a memory (10) with n memory cells, each for k bits, i.e. at least 2, and at least one reference system bit (Br) and at least one measurement bit (Bm), whereby the cell states cannot be read externally. The memory output (s) is connected to the generator output and provides the measurement bits of the n cells. A computer device (16) causes the transition from an initial to a final state for all cells. The transition probability depends on the received reference system bit and defined probability rules in the computer. An Independent claim is also included for a method of forming a secret encoding key.
