The device has a vibration generator acting on a liquid in a transport channel terminated by a nozzle wall with at least one nozzle opening. The vibration generator has a longitudinally movable vibration rod (8) acting on the liquid and connected to a piezoelectric vibration actuator (11) with at least one flexural beam (13) clamped at both ends whose central region (14) is connected to the vibration rod.
