Protective, water-retentive, plantable covering for a horizontal roof of a building, comprises rubbery granules bonded to each other and to the upper porous felt layer
Protective, water-retentive, plantable covering, comprises main layers (10) which comprise bonded rubbery granules (14), covered by a fleece or felt layer (12). Bonding of the lower layer granules also bonds the main layers together. The covering as a whole is both waterproof and stores water. An independent claim is also included for the manufacture of the covering, comprising mixing the rubbery granules and a binder to a layer-forming mass, which is laid together with the fleece or felt. They are pressed under conditions which induce binder hardening.
