The oil binding device against oil slicks produced in marine accidents on the high seas involves a net whose mesh matches each wave path. The net is drawn in front of the oil slick and then backwards through it. The oil slick can be encircled and taken from the water surface like a large floor mop. The device can be quickly transported from all locations to the oil spillage point, by fast vessels and also by aircraft. The mesh (Fig.1) is approximately 10 x 10 m and the floating net is held on the water by air-charged stabilization hoses (Fig.2).
