The air spring has a rolled bellows (1) with an inner section (3) mounted in a rolling tube (9) and which is connected by a fold (5) at the top of the tube to an outer section (7). A metal grid (15) between the inner section of the bellows and the inner surface of the tube acts as a drainage system.
