The rod system consists of several rod axes (1) of variable length with ball thread transmissions, fitted between a base frame (2) and a movable platform (3). Each rod axis has a cardan joint at the end, and is unable to rotate. The rod axes are fed in along the longitudinal axis by the ball-thread transmission without rotating.
