Manufacturing method for long-fiber boards with mat formed from fibers covered with adhesive on broad surface and subjected to intermediate compression before calibration
The boards are fabricated in a dry process from long fibers or a particle mixture with high long fiber component. In a first manufacturing stage, a mat is formed, a broad surface of the mat is covered with adhesive, and the mat is subjected to an intermediate compression stage before calibration. The mat is compressed to a thickness, which is below finished board thickness. A binding agent volume is supplied and measured, so that before, during, and after intermediate compression, no binding agent drips of runs-off.
