Roll-over protection system for automobile has roll-over protection element provided by sliding cassette incorporated in upper part of each automobile seat with attached headrest
The automobile roll-over protection system uses a sliding cassette (2) contained within the upper part of each automobile seat, which is deployed by a rapid-release drive (9), for acting as a roll-over protection element and which can be adjusted via a motorised setting drive (3) with a threaded spindle (4) and a cooperating traverse (5), for height adjustment of an attached headrest (13).
