The invention relates to a device (2) for supplying a liquid cleaning agent (R) to a tank of liquid (1), in particular a beer tank and for supplying and discharging a gaseous agent (G) to and from said tank. The device has a simple construction, needs no auxiliary energy and switches operations in a reliable manner, closing securely, even when transporting relatively small quantities of the supplied liquid cleaning agent. This is achieved by a freely displaceable switching member (3) which is guided vertically in a housing (2a) and by a body (4) which can float in the liquid cleaning agent (R). Said body is guided in the housing (2a) in a freely displaceable vertical manner and in association with a seating surface (4a) comes to rest against the second closure part (3.2) in an intermediate position, determined by the buoyant force in the liquid cleaning agent (R), thus closing the passages (3.2b). The body remains in its closure position against the passages (3.2b) for the duration of the switching operation of the switching member (3).
