A mirror (6) is so positioned that the pressure gage reading (3) can be read off via the mirror, or again the gage is placed so an axis parallel to that of the barrel (1) lies in the indicating plane of the gage. The gage reading can thus be read off the mirror by the firer in the firing position. The gage is placed on the air container wall running parallel to the barrel (1), the container being cylindrical so the gage is on the container generatrix. The container has an air connection (4) by which the gage also is connected to the container (2).
