The system has a steam generator (10,11) heated by the exhaust gas from the gas turbine (1) and a cooler for combustion air (5) for the gas turbine. The combustion air is compressed in at least two stages, whereby it is cooled (7) after at least one stage (3) and heated (8) at least after the last stage of the compressor (4). The steam turbine has only a medium pressure stage (21) and a low pressure stage (25).
