PURPOSE: A method for testing an ISDN(Integrated Services Digital Network) subscriber board of a switching system is provided to make an ISDN test device perform state transition by self time counting, to eliminate an abnormal test result generated by the stagger of state transition between the ISDN subscriber board and the ISDN test device, so that test confidence for the ISDN subscriber board can be improved. CONSTITUTION: Activation transition is commanded to an ISDN(Integrated Services Digital Network) subscriber board. Whether an ISDN test device performs activation transition within a predetermined time is confirmed. A test result for a D channel is reported to confirm the normality. A test result for B1/B2 channels and CRC(Cyclic Redundancy Check) monitoring are reported. Deactivation transition is commanded to the subscriber board, and whether the ISDN test device performs the deactivation transition within a predetermined time is confirmed. Activation transition is commanded to the subscriber board, and whether the ISDN test device performs activation transition within a predetermined time is confirmed. A test result for CRC monitoring is reported. Deactivation transition is commanded to the ISDN subscriber board, and whether the ISDN test device performs deactivation transition is confirmed.
