PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a favorite sweet stuff by using taffy is provided to serve Korean traditional cookies without having stickiness and sweetness. CONSTITUTION: A lump of taffy is cut into 6-7cm of a square with 10-15cm of thickness. The cut taffy is soaked in water for 10 seconds and heated with an electric lamp or a heater of 70-90°C to make the taffy soft. The soft taffy is formed to a circle shape and has a hole by a wood gimlet or a finger to make a doughnut shape by expanding the hole gradually. When the hole is expanded to 7mm of diameter to make two strands, the strands are twisted in an X type and pulled to make four strands. Four strands are twisted and pulled to be 8, 32, 62, 128, 256, 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192 and 16384 strands by having 14 times processes. In each increasing process, taffy and taffy are twisted while covering the strands with starch powder for preventing a tangle. The final strands of 16,384 are cut into 5-10cm by hands or scissors. The cut strands are rolled with hands and have fillings in the roll to be a favorite sweet stuff.
