The invented method comprises contacting some biological liquids, such as bile, plasma, serum and urine, with an antibody anti-GST, labeled with particles such as gold particles and specific for the isoenzyme to be tested, whereby the specific anti-GST antibody must exhibit such sensitivity that makes it possible to detect picomolar concentrations of the isoenzyme under test. Complex being formed, i.e. "particle labeled antibody-isoenzyme" is caught on the immobilized antibody under generation of a detectable signal. The proposed method is suitable for determining damage of organs due to immunological or toxicological damage and for monitoring the state of transplanted organs, such as livers or kidneys.
