PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver of an ashtray capable of preventing the fire caused by the carelessness of a cigarette, and emphasizing the carelessness. ;SOLUTION: This receiver of an ashtray has a shape of a cylinder with a bottom, having a connected interior, and an outer part made of a material capable of being melted by fire, such as a thin plastic, and the interior is filled with water so that a small pressure may be applied. When the receiver of the ashtray is used by placing the ashtray thereon, even if the cigarette drops from the ashtray to the exterior of the ashtray, the cigarette melts the thin plastic and the water included therein flows over and extinguishes the fire. The receiver of the ashtray becomes unusable when such the accident has happened once, because the fire melts the thin plastic so. As a result, the caution about the fire of the cigarette is emphasized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
