PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for resource recovery of unused shells with a lower investment in plant and equipment and less energy and with lower environmental load. SOLUTION: The shells are mixed with agriculture, forestry, fishery and livestock fermentable organic wastes and regulation materials and the mixture is subjected to an aerobic primary fermentation decomposition treatment and is further subjected to sieving and sorting, then to an aerobic secondary fermentation decomposition treatment. The fermentation treatment and resource recovery method consists in forming agricultural soil calciunn makeup materials having high calcium elution performance by next subjecting the mixture to an anaerobic ternary fermentation decomposition treatment.
