PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital information transmission system of radio communi cation especially adopting an OFDM system. SOLUTION: Especially concerning the digital quadrature modulation/ demodulation part of the OFDM modulation/demodulation system, digital quadrature demodulation is successively performed at the interval of four points to discrete data after A/D conversion and the pairs of discrete data streams composed of a common-mode component and a quadrature component are generated two by two. Thus, the sampling frequency of the data after A/D conversion can be reduced by half and signal transmission is enabled with the same information quantity and information rate as conventional.
