PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain earthquake-resistant reinforcement at a low cost by a method wherein the periphery of a building is surrounded by poles, in which lower sections are buried into a ground and which are disposed upright, and a plurality of the poles are attached, increasing the intervals of the poles on the outer circumference of the wooden building and the poles and the building are clamped at second floor positions.;SOLUTION: Poles 2 such as steel pipes disposed upright on the outer circumferential section of the existing two-storied wooden building 1 are installed, enclosing the periphery of the building 1. Reinforcements 3 such as base reinforcements, vertical reinforcements, horizontal reinforcements or the like are arranged and driven into a drilled hole in a ground, and foot protection bodies 4 composed of reinforced concrete are formed at that time.
