PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge device for taking out a granular polymer product from a vessel accommodating a gas-fluidized bed for the granular polymer product. ;SOLUTION: The discharge device comprises (a) an opened and substantially cylindrical product removing leg arranged at the lower part of the fluidized bed of the granular product, (b) a product discharge valve located at the bottom of the product removing leg, and (c) a plurality of individual nozzle means directed to the surface of the valve means, the nozzle means being communicated to a gas source under pressure, whereby when the product discharge valve is at a closed position, some or all of the surface of the valve is continuously swept so that it does not hold the granular polymer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
