PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the attitude of a body to be attitude controlled by fixing the tip of a driving member to the body to be attitude controlled or a support member for supporting the body to be attitude controlled, fixing the base end thereof to a device body, and heating it by a heating source. ;SOLUTION: The tips of shape memory alloys 4a-4d are formed as linear wire parts, guided to pulleys attached to struts 5 and extended along the side circumferential surface of a disc, and the tops are converged to a prescribed position on the side circumferential surface of the disc and fixed by a fixture 3. The shape memory alloys are made to store the shapes so that the coil part springs are contracted at a high temperature. A reflecting plate 1 is arranged along the inside of the coil parts 4a-4d of the shape memory alloys so as to be raised on the outside surface of an artificial satellite body 8. The reflecting plate 7 promotes the heating from a specified direction of the shape memory alloys and suppresses the heating from other directions. According to this, efficient attitude control of a solar battery paddle can be automatically performed by the effect of the shape memory alloys.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
