PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide potted flower plant capable of realizing excellent flower retention and forming an arrangement through gathering many individuals in a small pot. SOLUTION: This flower plant 10 has a portion corresponding to a cut flower 14 having flowers 15, leaves 16 and/or stems 17 as objects for appreciation and a given grass height and a root ball 20 including a slow-acting fertilizer 36; wherein the diameter or side length of the root ball 20 is =1/5 time the grass height, being =6 cm; the slow-acting fertilizer 36 has a leaching pattern corresponding to nourishment absorption changing as this flowering plant 10 grows, stably leaching fertilizer ingredients over the raising period and appreciation period; and the root ball 20 has enough mechanical strength to stand disintegration even under a condition of being turned sideways.
