PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remaining value calculating device which enables a collection enterprise for recycling, etc., to easily and appropriately calculate a remaining value in the case of recycling an electrical appliance. ;SOLUTION: This remaining value calculating device includes a usage history information part 20 which detects the use history of the electric appliance, a remaining value calculating part 22 which is connected to the part 20 and calculates remaining value, a data storing part 24 which stores the standard remaining value of a valuable member such as a unit or a member in the electrical appliance, a data communicating part 26 which is connected to the part 24 and performs data communication with external communications equipment and a remaining value outputting part 28, which is connected to the part 22 and is for outputting the remaining value calculated by the remaining value calculating part to a liquid crystal monitor 30 and a speaker 32.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
