PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for reporting that an infant or an old person has wetted a diaper to a mother or a helper and a sensor used in the device. SOLUTION: This device is constituted of a diaper wetting detection sensor in which a pair of electrodes 3 and 4 are slightly separated, arranged, attached and formed, capacitance is formed between both electrodes 3 and 4 and the capacitance is changed when the diaper is wetted, an oscillator for impressing AC signals to the electrodes 3 and 4 of the wetting detection sensor, a detector for catching the change of the capacitance between the pair of the electrodes 3 and 4 and a vibrator or a buzzer operated by the output signals of the detector. When the user of the diaper excretes and the diaper is wetted, the capacitance between the electrodes 3 and 4 is changed, the vibrator or the buzzer is operated and it is reported to the mother or the helper.
