PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide general-purpose electronic information circulation method/ system which efficiently authenticate the possessor of protection data and which anyone can use. SOLUTION: An issuer device generating and transmitting protection data to be prevented from multiple use, a token being information receiving protection data and specifying the possessor of protection data, a user device generating and accumulating token information specifying the token and transmitting first information comprising protection data ID specifying protection data and token information and a token managing device receiving first information, judging whether first information having a value equal to protection data ID is previously accumulated or not, accumulating first information only when it is not accumulated, receiving second information comprising protection data ID specifying first information which is previously accumulated and updated token information and updating first information only when the device of the transmission source of second information possesses protection data specified by token information included in first information are included.
