PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter manufacturing method by which fitting accuracy of ink on a color filter substrate is improved and thus a color filter free from color mixture, decoloration, etc., is manufactured. ;SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the color filters by discharging an ink toward the substrate 53 from an ink jet head IJH and coloring each picture element in plural discharged inks, a next ink is discharged in a position where this ink is mixed with an ink 11 stuck one step before within the same picture element when ink 12 discharged from the ink head jet IJH is stuck on the substrate 53 not in a droplet-shaped but in a column-shaped condition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
