PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a judgement of reissue for a discontinued book is very difficult for a publisher due to the fact that the publisher hardly grasp the needs of whole market, through a customer who wants to get already discontinued book can request a reissue of the book by a telephone or a mail. ;SOLUTION: In this system, in advance, a server 1 lists up books able to be reissued, the customers access to the server 1 from terminals 3 via internet line 2 so as to appeal the request of reissue, and when the number of customers who want to reissue exceeds the predetermined number needed to reissue, the server 1 informs the fact to publishers 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
