PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage cargo while maintaining and controlling a refrigerator by measuring the temperature in the refrigerator during maintenance/ management period and holding the history of the temperature in the refrigerator in a memory card. SOLUTION: During a cargo management period after insertion of a memory card 12 before removal thereof temperature in the refrigerator is measured and the history thereof is held in a memory card. Temperature in the refrigerator is then measured during a maintenance/management period determined by subtracting the interval when a refrigerator 322 is turned off and the interval when a defroster is turned ON from the cargo management period and then the history thereof is held in the memory card 12. Since the maintenance/ management period is discriminated from the cargo management period maintenance/management information 28a and cargo management information 30a can be generated based on average temperature histories collected respectively, the cargo can be managed while maintaining and controlling the refrigerator.
