A dust removing device of the present invention includes air jetting means 5 for jetting air intermittently from a plurality of nozzles (15) toward a desired assembly. With the air jetting means, the device is capable of causing dust blown away from the assembly to be efficiently carried by an air stream generated by sucking means (6A). The intermittent air jets easily remove even dust having particle sizes of less than 20 Ám.
