Saw guide for use in mitre box has saw guides held in place by pillars; with guides having upper slot, opening upwards to contain and guide saw frame and lower slot, with downward opening slot to contain and guide saw blade
The saw guide consists of a base (21), with a turning platform (22), fixed so as to pivot above the base. At each extremity of the platform is a set of guide rods (23), which is fitted with a saw guide (24). Slots are fitted at the upper and lower end of the saw guides, with the upper slot designed to carry the saw frame (26) and the lower slot to carry the saw blade (27). The upper slot is open upwards and the lower slot has a downward opening groove.
